A special "Rainforest Connection" exhibit, featuring art from children living in the rainforest regions of Guatemala, Colombia, and Sri Lanka and their American partners attending Holmes Elementary School School in Darien, CT, was on display at the Darien Nature Center in January.

The young artists were asked to create pictures that show the ways their lives are affected by their environment.

The opening reception welcomed over 75 local artists, teachers, family members, and friends.

Many other folks toured the exhibit during its 3-week run.
